Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to your hotel in the centre of Hanoi (standard check-in 14:00). Free at leisure — explore the Old Quarter's beer streets, bars and boutique shops in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.

Full-day city tour beginning with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ba Dinh Square, the Presidential Palace, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the Temple of Literature, then in the afternoon visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and take a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter.

After breakfast, drive around 3 hours to Ha Long Bay with a short rest stop en route. Check in at the jetty, board your cruise for lunch while sailing among the bay's limestone karsts, and spend the afternoon on included visits or activities before the boat anchors for the night. Dinner is served on board.

Cruise back through Ha Long Bay at sunrise with breakfast/brunch on board, disembark and transfer to Hanoi, then take a private transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your evening flight to Da Nang. Arrive in Da Nang and transfer to your hotel.

Cable car up to the summit of Ba Na Hills (1,487m), visiting the Funicular, Le Jardin D'Amour and Linh Ung Pagoda, then Fantasy Park, the Bell Tower, Nghinh Phong Tower and the Golden Bridge, before the cable car back down and transfer to your hotel.

Free morning at leisure, then a basket-boat ride through the water-coconut village of Cam Thanh along the Cua Dai River. Late afternoon, walk through Hoi An's ancient town — the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese assembly halls and old merchant houses — before transferring back to Da Nang in the evening.
