Hoi An
A remarkably preserved ancient trading port, famous for its lantern-lit streets and riverside old town.
Once one of Southeast Asia’s busiest ports, Hoi An’s UNESCO-listed old town survives almost intact: wooden merchant houses, a Japanese covered bridge, and streets that glow with silk lanterns after dark. It is also known for its tailors, cooking classes and nearby beaches.
